90年代末,这首歌曾经相当红. 原曲是the police所作,叫Every breath you take.后被Puff Daddy翻唱,以此纪念Notrious B I G的死,他好像是被枪杀的.纪念死去的好友.是首很感人的歌,歌中的女声正是BIG的遗孀.
这首纪念逝者的曲目大家并不陌生，国内KTV里都经常有人唱，央视的武术节目还拿这节奏作背景配乐（就是这个版本，而不是Sting的原始版本），歌词干净的程度堪比早期偶像男孩团，脍炙人口。Puff Daddy的光辉形象由此树立，Video中扮起纯情小男生……用我老妈的话说就是“挺精神的”。可是马戏团不能总是笼罩在悲剧中，不然小丑们就没戏唱了，为了活着的人，出乖露丑的事还得做下去，赚钱才能确保得心应手。没有在Biggie倒下时理所当然地上位东岸老大，反而让城市流氓Jay-Z钻了空子，也许是老爹最大的败笔
